Start here:

If you’ve been away from church for a long time, you are not alone.

Maybe it’s been years. Maybe decades.

Maybe you’ve thought about going back—but didn’t know where to start.

Or maybe you’ve even driven to the church building… and sat in the parking lot, unsure what to do next.

I understand that feeling.

This website was created for people who feel a quiet pull to return, but don’t quite know how to take the first step. There’s no pressure here. No expectations. Just a place to begin.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You don’t have to be ready to fully come back.

You don’t even have to talk to anyone right away.

You can start small.

You can sit in the back.

You can come and go quietly.

You can take this one step at a time.

Over time, I’ve come to recognize that gentle “small voice” that encourages us toward good things. You may have felt it too—that quiet nudge telling you it might be time to come back.

If that’s why you’re here, you’re in the right place.

This site will walk with you through simple, real questions like:

  • How do I go back after being gone so long?
  • What if I don’t know anyone?
  • What if I feel uncomfortable or out of place?
  • Can I just show up?

The answer to that last question is yes. You can just show up.

My hope is that you’ll find reassurance, practical guidance, and the courage to take your next step—whatever that looks like for you.

You are not forgotten.

You are not out of place.

And you are always welcome to come back.

With love,

Nancy
